From mainstream radio featuring playlist filled with Caribbean dancehall influence hits, to a recent Huffington Post article “Enjoy Dancehall Sounds, But Don’t Let Enjoyment Be Erasure”, by Social Justice Advocate Rasheena Fountain, there is no denying of the impact of dancehall on today’s conventional urban music.

However the latter has long been done and perfected by various Jamaican native artists, who upon migrated to various continents have been influenced by urban sounds. Recording artists K’Coneil and Kreesha Turner latest single “Love How You Whine” is a perfect example of reggae/dancehall and r&b/pop fusion.

Produced by Grammy Award-Winning Producer Troyton Rami (Sean Paul, Dutty Rock, Give Me The Light), the sizzling single plays on the synergy between the the Genre Fluid* K’Coneil and the platinum selling songstress. Since their performance at the 2017 CUT HIP HOP AWARDS, one of Canada’s premier music awards, fans have eagerly been awaiting the release of the video.

From airplay on inter-continental airwaves, to video rotation on Much Music and a notable mention in the prestigious Huff Post, “Love How You Whine” has garnered over 28 thousand views on YouTube and counting since it’s debut on August 1st.

Directed by Canadian based filmmakers Fatty Soprano and Shutter, and filmed on location in Miami.
