Introducing ‘Queen Dej’
Born 08/89′ in Windsor, ON to an American Dad and a Canadian born mother.
Growing up lower than middle class, and not seeing eye to eye with parents since a young age, I always knew I had purpose. On my own since 15, Throwing myself into dance and vocals as an outlet. I travel alone, and work for myself. I’ve excelled moving forward with college and a career in acupressure and reflexology, as well as extra work and English teaching. I never do anything for likes, I invest in me because no one ever has. But I always got it covered #legit.
As a Hip Hop vocalist and songwriter I want to bring back real FLOW-ETRY to the millennials and gen-x groups lost in music w/ no character. All music is great art, but hip hop is lost. It used to breathe life. That feeling alone is what I seek when I get a mic. We all have a past but Queen Dej speaks truth, her truth. No more, no less. Love it or hate it.
