Interview with 'Stretch Alchemy'

Stretch Alchemy is a 29 year old rapper from Wisconsin. Stretch’s rap is raw and emotional. With catchy hooks and real verses, each song is a small part of Stretch.

Where are you from?

I am originally from Madison, WI

How long have you been making music?

I have been involved with music in some way my entire life. But I officially dropped music publicly in December of 2021.

How many songs /albums have you released to date?

I have 8 singles and one EP released, with another EP to be released on April 29th.

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

I talk a lot about mental health and my struggles with it. As always I pull from inside myself as inspiration.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

I have always been making music but I decided to make it public after my wife convinced me to share my music with other people. Which has been so worth it.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

No one, I have only been working with myself.

How do you think you differ from other artists?

I think I’m very different from other artists. I try to make music that isn’t like radio/popular style. It’s more personal and is relatable for some people.

Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?

Juice WRLD, Lil Peep, Mac Miller, Kid Cudi.

What was the first album you bought?

Ludacris- Word of Mouf

What is your favourite saying?

Fuck It

What other hobbies or interests do you have?

Listening to music, making music, painting/art, video games.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

Plenty of tattoos and a few piercings.

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?

My newest release will be The Stretch Alchemy EP, which releases on April 29th. It’s a short EP but very impactful to listen to.

What’s in the pipeline after this project?

For the rest of the year it will be a mixtape that will be twice as long as my previous EPs, some singles and maybe another music video.
