Ease Up highlights a point in time where Fee-Lo had been dealing with a bit of depression and disappointment from calling off a recent engagement with an ex-girlfriend. He was at a very low point in his spiritual walk and found himself fighting less and less with temptation almost to the point where he became numb to his falling in sexual sin.
He described it as a declaration to himself as a single male but surely married people can relate because we all face temptation. “Ease Up” was a track released in 2016 from Fee-Lo’s ep titled “Fresh Heir” which is available everywhere music is sold digitally.
